Slight optical illusion, the track is medium sized....14 second laps for the very fast guys

Mark ... go put a few "bus-stops" and chicanes ... that'll make lawnmowers go whre they belong ... on the grass!
I could have driven a bus on there this morning after seeing all those lawnmowers, I can tell ya!
But now you know why they like it so much.....all that grass to look after

Wow markp27 now i know what you meant about being in the middle of a forest

I must say that your track looks good and 14 seconds sounds like a really rapid laptime to me

I think on the full Grand prix circuit at Benarty its around 19 seconds/lap

Yep, being in the middle of a forest means I can head over to the track at 5am if I want to - you can drive anytime you like and not disturb anyone

The 14 second laps are put down by the best guys in Germany I've not had any timed laps with my 710, but with the 705 and a not too good of an engine, I was in the 15.5s.

Apart from the big sweeper - which you see in the foreground and the fast right-left kink, the circuit is made up of flat out sections connected with hairpin bends - so in a sense, I suppose the circuit is quite large, as so much time is spent flat out.

Do you know how long a complete lap is at Benarty? Once round the Zollhausring in Nuremberg is 235 meters or 771 feet.

Ta matey! As I couldn't drive today, I decided to finish off the shells which I'm preparing for my test of the Xray T1 Factory Kit and the Tamiya TRF-415 - I couldn't decide which would be better for me, so I bought the two of them to test fully - the better one I'll keep and the other goes onto Ebay.

Is that by lawnmowers or the REAL fast guys with a 710?

Default Hubs & driveshafts

Watched the Florida Winternats today. Yes got it for fathers day. Anyway noticed one Michael Salven has Xray hubs but I could see what driveshafts he used. I tried my hubs and driveshafts from my Xray EVO 2 and the hubs fit perfectly but the driveshafts are to short.

If there is anyone that knows, it's got to be Sow&Steady or markp27. These guys seem to have so much time to tinker with there 710's. Anyway would appreciate any input also the plastic end on the Xray driveshaft would seem to negate the problem with the dogbone wearing a notch in the ball diff.

Seems you have Sow and myself confused with InitialD Certainly from the DVD you can see that Michael is using the hubs and Hudy spring steel driveshafts, but I don't have any more information than that
