Tweak Problem
What setup are you using? Stock? If not, can you list them out? suspension is not binding even though I think I check that but it doesn't hurt to double check Thanks; Key500 |

Originally posted by KevinS That's just the difference between Europe and Asia... Look at what the chassis plate costs here and at Mushroom. The normal price in Europe is 70 Euro (US$ 85+) and I believe at Mushroom you got it for $40! Look at the new arrivals at Mushroom, the Serpent ceramic bearings. I don't even want to know what these cost here in Europe! 1380 5x13 (2) $23.31USD 1381 6x10 (2) $25.06USD 1382 6x13 (2) $23.31USD 1383 6x15 (2) $31.33USD 1384 10x15 (2) $31.33USD 1386 12x18 (2) $31.33USD 1387 12x21 (2) $37.60USD |

Also, in the LRP Masters open, Michael and Julius used a bar like thing stuck onto the rear shock tower to avoid the body shell from being compressed during pitstop. Do you have a clearer pic of that? What parts are needed for that? Does it really work? Thanks. Now we hang out here to see if we can be faster than him at this forum too.   ... but now we're beginning to be a bit ambitious I think. He's REAL fast ... with info, tid bits, etc complete with url's and part numbers. He has THE RING! |

What's the best way to loosen up the suspenion. Thanks; Andre Andre, check section 4.3 in the FAQ in my signature - there are some tips about how to overcome binding suspension. If the FAQ tips don't make a difference, then for the front, try removing the smallest caster clip and see if the suspension still binds. Also check to see that the alu adjusting nuts in the steering blocks and the rear uprights aren't too tight - this would cause binding on the pillow balls. Don't be tempted to start removing material from the suspension arms, etc. until all other causes are eliminated - the fit of the parts should be very good and not give any problems with binding. Cheers, Mark. |
