Rubber tire set up
Does anyone have a good rubber tire set up for the 710? I am going to a track out of town and they only run rubber tires.

Thanks,
Tim

Has anyone run this car with Rubber Tires? I guess I will start with the stock set up and go from there.;)

Ola Mr.D

Yesterday my time was very little so :
50W oil - yellow spring all around with a bit of pre-load

BUT tha car was not costant (sometimes has a too much grip, another time , when you push hard suddenly loose some traction ) especially (BAD) in the 2 on-throttle sweeper (as you saied)

Bye

I don't know about anybody else but don't you think -4 and -3 for the FRONT camber is a little too excessive? Try 200 mm front trackwidth.

I would also try softer shocks all round (yellow springs with Serpent 30wt oil with 4 or 5 holes) like what Proficar403 advised but use the sway bar to tune and harden the front end to your liking. Works for me.

-3 and -4 is not excessive on my truck.
The front tires worn flat -flat-flat

but i will think about it.

Actually I have 199mm. front width
Mr.D.... Do you think that 200 mm. front trkwidth is too dangerous for losing front dogbones?
I have standard dogbones.I don't want to change with other types

Is it bad to have to much move ment in your sway bar

My father and I took a little pant off of the sway bar because it was binding and now we have to much move ment in the sway bar

Just a quick question on engines and plugs. Can you use an OS plug in a Novarossi engine? I have quite a few OS8 but I don't run an OS engine anymore. Thanks.

I believe the OS8 is a short plug. I believe Novarossi's only work correctly with long plugs.

Depends on whether you're talking about turbo or standard plugs.

I think standard plugs are easily interchangeable but turbo ones are not quite so.

You mean you shaved off from the ball of the front sway-bar?

You shouldn't have to grind down the male (ball-end) part for the sway bar to get movement out of it!!:weird:

It just need to barley go inside that female (cup) part.........you probably had it to far in were it wasn't moving to freely.

Well, thanks for asking, D :)

The baby is fine and healthy eventhough he has gone thru his 1st. 2 weeks in the NICU and the ENT OT(Operation Theatre) but he's ok now. thanks for asking.
about the car stuff...actually why i opened up everything is becoz, according to my Kadazan culture thing(whenever the baby got some problems), i need to wipe him with everything i play with during my wife's 9 month pregnant. so obviously my 710 kit need some wiping for him.:D believe it or not, it works. my baby is fine, healthy and love nitro sounds(i always hold him in front of the tv when i watch rc race videos  :D )

sorry for the long explaination...my fault, i love 710 and my baby.
