Woh that car isn't on-road, but an off-road
You have to stay on the track!
I'm not a great driver but after a day of driving my car
(still a 705 ) my car doesn't look like that. what did you do drive it at the rear of the clubhouse?

Default Dirty !!!

Yes Guy's

It is Rob allright......

And we made sure that Stanley had his work cut out when he had to clean the car for the next day of running the 710 !!

OK No worries, we helped him cleaning ofcourse !!!

The dirt is mainly rubber from the tires, but then the track was dirty also....... are you convinced ?!

Greetzzzzz

R

I asked but I think nobody replied. I should think that they would provide the mounts for the Powerstart in the kit like they did for the 705.

At the product write up of the 710, it is mentioned below int he last lines...

To enable you to start your Serpent 710 with the greatest of ease Serpent provide the necessary alignment brackets for your Powerstart™ starter box.

Ummm, if they are indeed different mounts from the 705, then it would be difficult for those who run 705 and 710... Unless it is accounted for in the pocket to use 2 starter boxes !

The blocks for the powerstart will be in the kit. They a special for the 710.

Earlier on, there were rumours mentioned that the 710 is able to adjust the wheelbase but I found that this is not mentioned on mytsn.

I assume since the car is equipped with ecentres in the front and rear to adjust belt tension, changing the belt tensions you change the wheelbase too? No?
Yes and no.
We could change the belt tension, but it’s not true, that we have an adjustable wheel base. This is a feature of the 950R.

The Centax III is a complete new design extra made for the 200mm class. It’s about 13 gram’s lighter than the Centax II. Also the way of building is different. On mytsn you will find soon some pictures, than you will understand.

What difference would that make on the 705? Longer rear arms, better chamber change etc? I also saw that he shortened the wheelbase in the front tires.

Sorry for all this barrage of questions but I just needed to get it off my head !!
Sure have we seen the changed rear. It’s from serpent. This was a try to make the car easier too drive on small tracks. It has nothing to do with the 710. With the longer upper arm we got a better braking and a bigger sweep-spot. Bad enough, it don’t works on every track. With the 705 we where on the limit, sometimes we mad some changes to go over it. But than it was very difficult to drive. Only Ralf and I used this rear. In begin I liked it, later I used the standard rear again.

Optionals
what kind of optionals will you offer for the car
Ronald Baar (NL) 14−11−03 at 17:18
quite a few different ones: optional chassis, front ball-differential, alu shockhousings front and rear, ceramic ball-bearings, aluminium pulleys, some titanium parts, race-brake-pads, ventilated disk-brake, support-springs-set, different shock-springs, different 2-speed gears, tank-bracket carbon; some of these items will be available right away, others items may take a few months before release; check the website frequently.

AN OPTIONAL CHASSIS???? . WHAT WILL BE DIFFERENT THEN THE ORIGINAL 4MM CHASSIS.
WHICH KIND OF TITANIUM PARTS ARE YOU THINKING OF?

Maybe we will make the 2-speed axle and the Middle axle in Titanium.
About the chassis: future is not written.
