Just wanna share with you guys.
Yesterday was our 1st regional(state/province) TC race, I found the biggest-traction setup for rear, on my local track of course.
Using shortest upper arm UBO and LT lower arm,
4.5 camber,
+2deg Toe in,
40R / 37F tire, Trinity Shock oil 60 and 3 hole all around.
lowest DRS arm(no spacer below arm),
100% diff lock.
Stock setup in front, except
6mm (caster) in front.
-1 camber
+1 toe in
Track is quite damp, whole night heavy rain totally clean the track.
I start the practice with Romeo 2.1 shell, after 2nd tanks my car and track is start to hooked up. Bit understeer (with 100% steering DR) in the sweeper but perfect in all corner, change to Mazda 6 and Bang!! my lap times in only .5 slower than last month Lola race.
1st heat, I lower the shore 35F/37R, best lap still the same.
2nd heat, put back 37F/40R and change to 0 front toe, feels better but still same lap times.
3rd heat, same with 2nd heat but adding more FR camber 2(outside) and 1.5 inside and the car is in best condition. And lower the lap times almost .2 second than 2nd heat.
There is downside to obtain those rear setup using GQ tire and maintain 200m trackwidth
- must use Impact dogbone
- must cut the upper arm 1.5-2mm shorter, coz it hits rear hub.
But the car is able to handle my MAX to the limit.
Give it a try....

I have personally found that softer springs work very well with the car even on moderate to high speed tracks. The car does not roll much. I guess the car is pretty light and nimble enough to use soft spring setup. My 2 cents.

Was out with a friend the other day and guess what I saw! A nice public race track I heard it was just built so I might give it a try sometimes. The only downside is you need to bring your own table and chairs. The lights are on until midnight which is good for late night racers I guess you cant complain since its free. Its hard to tell from above but it looks like its smooth hight bite surface. Its twice as big as Silver Stone track that I usually race at. It has a huge oval track which is cool and the staights are just amazing. Definately can test out the top speed on my 710 Here is a pic of the left side of the track. Sorry for the pic quality but I only had my camera phone at the time.

Definately a 1/8th scale dream track since its so dam big. Here is the right side of the track.

Hi guys, please would you tell me the difference between ceramic bearing and normal, and also why one would want titanium screws on a cal? Have any of you actually bent or broken a screw? I am a little confused as to why one would want such strong screws...

The DRS could also be part of the problem. With the arm in the upper position you'll get more steering into corners but less rear grip, which could cause the rolling problems.

titanium
Those screws are stronger and lighter so you save some overall weight to even balance your car better to add weight where you want it the most.

AH, I see thank you herbie... I want to order my car now....... I must wait another 13 days....

Dino... are you aware of the new track?

Im looking into buying a second car kit. Anyone know who has the newest batch of the 710'? Besides the new 3.5mm shock tower will there be even a newer batch with the stonger bumpers and other goodies that Rene mentioned that they might fix in the future?
