Have a look at http://www.rccarinternational.com and have a look in the shop, and it is under serpent... For me, this is an ok price... works out to like ~$6 a pair... And they ship anywhere in the world for a reasonable amount... not bad at all.
I think you made a little mistake..
It's about 6€ for one tire...
So it's about 12€ for a set of 2 tires....

Yes right, even when new it'll rub ever so slightly. This is normal because belts tend to "round out" due to the cetrifugal force as it spins around; not to mention there's vibration too. Obviously the faster you drive, the more this tends to happen .... I guess that means D drives fast heh?

I think the grove in the chassis is not a bad idea but I would mill the channel all the way to the end of the rib. Otherwise there is a tendency to trap small pebble at the end of the channel ... me thinks anyways.

Be careful... Unless you want to buy 45 shore front tires and 37 shore rear tires, I would look to HK to buy.

A lot of people (including myself) don't think so ! So you can scrap me out of the fast driver list !

Well, the belt rubbing only goes to show that the belt is pretty loose now and that I'm cheap ! I'm now tightening it up a notch from stock.

Yeah. Excellent thought ! I took a look at the car last night and you're right that there are less chances for pebbles to get trapped inside when there's hardly any space due to the front belt's close distance to the chassis.
