Also if you look at the gearing the Kyosho team was using on their cars, most of them were using 23/55 combo which yields 4.78 FDR while Paulo was using 22/56 (FDR 4.77).

So looks like the Picco-Mega engines have about the same top end as the Sirios assuming both RRR and 710 drivers used similar tire diameters.

You're referring to the T1FK and the 415?

Default Who needs shocks

I had a very interesting weekend... I completed my first 15 min. main. That is not the most interesting part. About 12 minutes into the race I hit the pipe very hard and something came off the front of my car. Not knowing what it was I continued on with the race. I was concerned at first but the car did not seem much different. I finished the race and picked up my car to find that the drivers side front shock had broken. The sad part of all of this is that my lap times were the same with the broken shock. What does that tell me?

The other sad part is that the car was noticably slower. I don't know why, it was running fine in the qualifier. My lap times were about the same the whole day. It didn't matter if the car was running good, had 3 shocks, etc... I guess it's the driver.

Choco, you can only tell once its in your hands.

Four tanks at the wrong settings can cause an engine to perform no where near its designed performance band.

Buying second hand engines is always a risk you take.
