Something else which is interesting is the position of the forward most body clips - they aren't even touching the body!! Only the third body post is actually holding the body down. Any reason for this?

Yes ... the most likely reason is that while they're testing the set-up, they'll want to also see if the shocks etc is not too soft or hard.

Too soft and the chassis bottoms out. When this happens, they don't want the body to scrub on the track. The shell can ride up the body posts a little bit mounting them this way.

Too hard and the car will be bouncy ... easier to see the "bounce" with the shell loose.

:D

Any of you guys tried the Delta clutch shoe for your 710? Was that clutch has longer life than the stock one? Or better performance than the stock one?

Sow it's a clutchshoe made by Delta just as JPRacing made a red one also. There seems to be some kind of material used in the shoe for endurance. Don't know the name of the stuff used:(

In electric touring scene, most of driver do that. Mount the clip loose (1/2 - 1 hole above body).
The purpose is, when they touches other car (or curbs) only the shell is move up a bit, not the car.

Mark, look at the latest Michael Salven's body. Now he spots a a front hole in the front of the wind screen.

While Josh Cyrul's bodyshell spots a partial hole in front and a unique side window cut. I think that strenghtens the front body part more and less body flex.

Crashed_1 mentioned to me that it is a possibility that since the rear wing needs to be cut thinner for legal reasons (refer to the rear wing marks and you'll know what I mean), you will see as if the wing is mounted more towards the rear as he will need to use the rear part of the mounting hole on the body to align the rear hole made on the wing.

I have my wing cut to the lower marks on the wing and it is mounted so the rear of the wing is level with the rear of the body. This is not causing a problem, improves front traction.
