I know what you mean, though. When I got the chicane right, it was when I wasn't really paying attention too much to getting in at the right angle - it was just natural to go on that line. When I thought about it, I would end up crashing through the chicane - only practice will help.
Once I get that sorted I'll be more comfortable.

I think sometimes the mistake often made is to look at other car on the track while you have your own to look at !

Not on the pulleys themselves, but I put a light coating of oil on the pulley shafts, to reduce the friction between the shaft and the bearings. Doing this gives you a super smooth drive train.
Got this tip from a very helpful "young" member of RCTECH here in the 710 forum.....if only I could remeber who he was :D

Most humble of you - I expect a couple of sacrifical lambs to be slaughted this weekend to show your appreciation  Sow reckons they're pretty good to ensure no rain at the weekend, but in cases of heavy/persistent rain, larger animals should be chose......so if you have an elephant or blue whale handy, please sacrifice it so I can drive at the weekend :D

We need to get our box setup there on the driver's stand - you know the one in the picture of us which I posted a few days ago - you'll be more comfortable then, too. Maybe bring your nurse along - she could make you comfortable, too :D
