Are you talking about S710 pulleys that they are making?

Just a few days to go to the gruge match between Sow and myself :sneaky: so I thought it was appropraite that we see the two contenders in action.
The pic below show Sow and myself full in concentration at the AMCC track, preparing to kick each others arses
A special driver stand was provided to allow for extra comfort during the long training session.

Hi SERPENTFREAK69,

The main advantage of the monoblock is it's rigidty that it will give to the chassis.
There will be less flexing of the chassis on this spot, so the carter will not get a lot of stress.
The monoblock will prevent your carter from bending.
A bend carter will lose rigidity, and afect your engine power on a negative way.
For single races like the upcoming worlds it will not be "nesecarry" , because the team drivers all have some completely new chassis with them. If Micheal Salven thinks the chassis isn't good anymore, then he will just take a new one.

Conclusion:

From wath the dutch teamdrivers told me about the part, is that it will make your chassis more durable and protected against bendeing, as well as the carter of your engine.
The backdraft is that it will aid some extra weight to your car, but that is for most drivers no problem.

I will stick with the stock engine mount (purple braces), untill I know wath engine I will get next season.
There are two versions available one Nova based, and one Picco based.
With the new Mega's (Picco) coming soon I will wait. I don't want to buy two monoblocks.

Bye Thomas.

Will it be posible to fit that new mono block on a 705?

You can use it on the 705, but the engine will sit 1mm lower. With the stock 3mm chassis the flywheel will be level with the bottom of the chassis, which I think isn't good... (unless you use some shims to bring it up ~.5mm) If you have the optional 4mm chassis it's no problem.

Wouldn't be a bad idea. Serpent has lost Ralf and I heard Mugen isn't treating Rick well (another rumour). ;)

Best thing is to order from http://rc-mushroom.com

There may be other online shops that can serve you best in the US but I don't have the link handy.
