Must feel fantastic to design a car, and then do so well with it, really great stuff for Rob, congrats on the TQ for him.

I can't believe someone would fiddle with his radio, seems seriously poor form.

Really it's hard to say the MTX5 is anything but good based on the result, you could argue a few points, but he was matching Dirk well and has done in previous events, that he is still doing that, and got TQ on what is a brand new car in it's first event, is a very good sign.

From now on it's finals, so will be interesting to see the 5 hold up in longer races, no doubt Robert has already done much longer runs with the car, but big event and all that will probably test it in full race conditions, win or loose though you feel it's a good car regardless at this point.

I don't know if you have noticed, and I am surprised..that in Wischnewski's XRAY plastic shock body is used and new springs.

Too bad for Rick V MTX5. Maybe in a dull first 10 minutes in which he lost 40 seconds. Was stronger than the other. The first MTX5 is unfortunately out of the game.

plastic shock bodies aren't bad, they are actually better in hot weather than the aluminum bodies. Ex, this weekend I have a race and I plan on running plastic.

Yep. I plan to use the plastics from now on (if I don't get the 5). I saw those black springs on Leino's car too.

Robert managed to keep his average time in the 13's, that alone speaks volumes for his form at this event, it's going to be hard to beat in the final, I'm so on edge waiting for it, don't want to jinx anything...
