I don't know about the diffs, but the NT1 two-speed housing & gears don't quite fit unless you make slight modification. The NT1 is basically a MTX4 clone, so it's no surprise that parts fit or nearly fit.

Kindest regards,

that is what it called itself re-engineering, took 2 years.
mugen is probably playing a waiting game, to wait unitl x ray launches somebody's latest clone first before the 5 is out.

i heard they actually used mugen parts in the first prototypes and models, i dont see why mugen didnt sue the pants off of them, and then what made it so bad, is they started winning with the car. i think the team mugen engines hurt them more than the older chassis

Prototyping is one thing. Final product is another.

If what you are saying is true.

Kyosho will sue Capricorn. And Xray/Serpent will sue KM Racing.

You don't see either happening right?

Speedypeterb 09-07-2010 04:35 PM

parts from other cars

muegan has used a few parts from kyosho's 1/8 scale rear end in their prototypes everybody is guilty

RANDY SMOOTH 09-07-2010 04:54 PM

That's true

All I can say is that Mugen needs to get on the ball and get the new car out soon. There are many Mugen drivers that are waiting to get the new car!!! I am still waiting even though I am experimenting with the Xray NT1R. I have to tell you if they don't do something soon, they will be losing loyalists to other brands like Xray.

LiL_JaSoN 09-08-2010 07:26 AM

i am running a serpent rear diff and capricorn/xray front diff on my rrr. Im pretty sure it would fit the same way to a mtx4 as it would to a rrr as they are very similar...

Aslong with titanium shafts and plastic pulleys. The accelleration is like a rocket.

If anyone needs more info pm me.

Take a look at the mugen seiki site and look at the setting sheets for Keisuke Fukada. He used a serpent clutch(not sure if he used the whole tranny). Some of the european drivers have adapted the 733 tranny to a mtx4r. they are some other gentlemen on the boards that can give you more info.

Pass you soon...

Hmm, so I guess it's time to start saving for a new car...

I wouldn't worry too much about rushing to save money for it yet, Kerry! There will be a thousand drivers fighting to get hold of one when it's released, and guys like you and I will most likely have to be patient and wait for a long time until the initial demand is satisfied.

Kindest regards,
Lars.

During the World championship in Houston, I was wathing live through the RCLIVE (good work), and Gary Baker asked ROBERT PITCH when the new chassis is going out?

Robert SAID live to the world that the new project principle left in the fair Noremberga in February (2011), as happened with MRX5, and there for the month of September went to the car public.

The process would be equal to MRX5.The President of MUGEN RACING America also said the same. This is exactly what they said.

Sorry for english.
