Jeff is awesome, and we have so much to thank him for. I hope we'll see him at the Vics in January. At the same time; it is my understanding that Woodberry will not be spending as much time with RC racing, to concentrate on the big car racing. We will be missing Phil and Matt if that's true; they're some of the best guys around.

Dan what a night mare!

I managed to go thru the car and identify the broken bits. So all up ordered everything via rcmarket which totalled to $180 + shipping (chassis, topdeck, fueltank, 1 x front alloy bulkhead and front bumper assembly) to get the chassis back in as new. So it wasn't as bad as I expected. Just need a motor and pipe on top of that as well.

No issue with Sanwa. Its the receiver plug that went bad me thinks.:(

bro, if i were you i would buy a new car, then go through the wreckage and salvage what is left. start with a new clean slate and a rubber band or spring on the carby, although in saying this, a servo stuck at WOT wouldn't have saved you.

either that, or the ugly yellow bodies you always run tried to commit suicide from the embarrasment they felt from looking so plain and ugly!:lol::p

dpes anyone have a link to an aftermarket manufacturer of brake pads for the MTX5? i find mine to not have enough bite even with maximum movement of the servo horn. Because i have to dial my radio up so high i find the rear pod of the chassis bends a lot.

even when i push the brake level with my hand, i can still turn the pulley from the belt side...not enough bite:o

PS: i just found these brake pads on the pro shop futaba site, deos anyone know if they have more bite than the standard pads?

stripping stripping stripping, bad car low quality... the material of rear diff cases is false thats why stripping diff gears.. the flex of the car is huge and stripping 2nd gears. the quality of plastic parts is very low. to bad for mugen

Bad luck mate, guess you've got a bad one since my kit is one gallon old and no issues at alla, not one broken spur and no diff gears broken, but I must say, I've switched the front diff gears with the rear ones after two liters and replaced the diff oil in both
So no issues at all
