Air compressor and that gooey plastecine looking stuff from Serpant will do the job So the BMI chasis is only 2.6mm. Not very good for our track in Malaysia. The 4 screws that holds the engine will be the first to go

Anyone know what specs are those engine screws? The manual only says its part number.

check the colour page that comes with the kit, coz next to the whole lot of part no. is the description which gives you the size. Am in the office so can't provide the details. Once you scrap these little suckers, then you need a dremer to cut them out

I am too lazy to remove all the electronics, I just blow it off with compressed air & spray with metho (denatured alcohol) where it is still dirty. I have never damaged any electronics cleaning this way. I really like the BMI chassis I have the version 1 & version 2 I actually prefer the V1 as it provides better protection to the fuel tank. The standard AE chassis is good, the only reason I got the BMI is I went through a "I must have all the shiny things phase"
it definatly makes a difference to the handling of the car on the old NTC3 but the new V2 Factory team (out of the box) I think is a better performer than my original BMI. I have just put the new rear end on my V2 BMI chassis but I have only driven it on the track for about 10 mins in that configeration before I got T boned & broke the tank, so I cant really judge if it is good as the standard V2FT. I dont like the Hardcore chassis (anyone want to buy one PM me) I hope all the V1/V2 stuff isnt confusing when I am referring to the 2 versions of the car & BMI chassis. My favourite feature of the BMI is the relocation of the steer servo, you can use a diff spring in the standard rack & lock it tight & use a Kimborough servo saver on the servo

I'd like to make the drivetrain as smooth as possible. Anyone have any blueprinting techniques? Yes I do have a dremel.

I ran a one way but it was with my previous car, the HoBao Hyper10 Pro. The one way was a modified HPI item and only lasted for the two day State Title meeting. Fell apart when I went to clean up the car.

I ran my FT NTC3 for the first time last weekend (first meet since the titles) and was 2 laps faster over 5mins than I was with the same engine! Needless to say I'm very happy with the NTC3

And I am running the one way that comes with the FT car.
