With the oneway or solid front diff my car will twist the alum cvds out of it with in a few races. Hitting the boards or sudden stop will also twist them out.

Yea it was happening to me with the Front solid axle but Now I run a diff again the front solid and oneway were to hard on the dogbones.

It won't twist MIP shinys out.

why are the MIPs heavier? as compared to the big dawgs? material?

The MIP's are steel. Probably worth the weight, I broke the big aluminum ones and never had a problem with the Shiny MIP's.
That is with a one-way, never had a problem while running a diff. You barely have to touch something to break the aluminum ones.

mips are steel and stronger. If you are racing with boards and meet them enough, mips are a good wasy to go. For myself, I feel pretty confident driving with the big dawgs. Remember if you hit a board hard enough, it probably will not only be the bone you are replacing . Been there done that.

I never have had the trouble with the MIP because of weight mass. I use monster HP and 30% with 8% oil . I have bent a few from the boards though, but you know, you'll have that!
Tallrc: the electric cvds are the same as the NItro, that's why you don't see them for nitro.

Re: universals
Have not had a lot of success with the MIPs... They do not hold up very well.... What I have found is that AE put steele CVDs in the ready to run model, which are very very good... I raced an entire points series without bending or breaking one. Very durable... If you are interested, go to the AE site and look the part number up for the ready to run model. You will not be disappointed with these, if your looking for strengh and durability.

BMI has rear toe jam nuts. Also Lunsford has a set of turnbuckles and jam nuts with diferent threads than AE turnbuckles
