Default Dynamite setup

Finchy, I have not have a chance to check it yet, it's been raining this whole weekend. Tomorrow's a holiday and hopefully no rain. I'll let you know tomorrow. I looked at the length of the Dynamite header and the AE pipe the header and the bend of the AE pipe are actually the same length believe it or not, the added length is in the RB pipe. I guess we'll see once I run it. I'll let you know if I did loose some top end but that could be hopefully compensated through different gearing.

XtremeMDX: Are you using the MIP clutch setup for the RC10 GT? Or the racing HPI Clutch? I looked into it some and the clutch shoes for the MIP was alot thinner than the stock AE. I figured it would be less contact on the clutchbell and after a short time the clutch would be slipping. The MIP clutch systems has worked great for me for years. I just got my hands on the new K-Factory 3 shoe clutch option. If it would ever warmup and quit snowing and sleeting here, I could try it!!!

bbntc3,
MIP makes a clutch now specifically for the NTC3. I think it's like $12 for the clutch shoes & spring, and it fits the 2-shoe flywheel. I haven't seen them locally, but I know that you can get them on Ebay.

Cool fastharry! Barry could when with a modified TYCO RC product! Barry is DA MAN! I see he was using the Picco this time. Hmm, they must have learned something from the worlds. He had troubles with the Piccos there I heard. Anway, we see who has the win and who's on top for now!

Hey guys, check out this rear toe-link set-up and let me know what you think. I just put it together this morning, and I am working on an even better version with 3mm screws and threaded captured balls (Mugen MRX-3 parts). The final version will look much cleaner, and it will work. No more compression, no more popping off.

Ntc3nut,
popping off has not really been an issue with most of the guys. I think that the compression is the main issue with the rear toe links. I don't think that having captured ball links does not really solve the problem of compression. It just seems the same as before with the exception that it would not pop off the cups, since it is captured. Keep trying!

Surely checking the rear compression is all part of between round maintainance

You cant win a race with popped ball cups

Ntc3nut.....nice mods, have suffered the pop off a couple of times, more annoying than anything else.... will start on my mod today
