Wonderful. Of course, as mentioned before this will lead to another round of 'copycat!' cries from the masses. I hate having to run another starter box for 2 cars...

BTW Way to go in 1/8th scale Chris, now I can't wait to see you drive the new one. Let me know what shell you want to run...

The car looks real punchy to me as well.

spenzalii- don't worry, you'll also be able to flip conventional pipes around by cutting the exhaust pressure nipple off, and remounting another, perhaps with JB Weld, to the appropriate side.

does the CD3 outhandle the LD3 in anyway? what is better on the CD3 then the LD3?

The geometry is the same as the LD3. The ability to use more conventional pipes along with the ultra-efficient drivetrain will be a plus IMO.

surely with a new layout the car should some differences in weight transfer etc. therefore making it handle diferent?
