Thanks for the feedback. I got an email that my order is being processed, so at least I know they are working on it.

Thanks again for your interest in helping us out Jeffrey.

I think it would have saved a lot of worry if we knew that there was going to be a delay on our orders, the only thing that prevented me from taking further action was that so many of us had undelivered orders from more than one site.
We'll just have to remember this period next year

Back on subject.
I had the unusual thing happen to my car at the weekend, I stripped 3 2nd gear spurs.
Guess it's time to strip the car and check for worn components, after all the car is a year and a half old so it must be time for replacement parts.

Hey Nimo i have to gear down my car to 20/51 and 26/45 . This past weekend my car was still pulling at the end of the 250ft straight, i was running a 59mm rear tyre and a 57mm front.

I was running a 200ft straight with 20/50 - 25/46 and was cursing the straight for not being long enough.
But doesn't it feel good to have that speed without it bogging down out of the corners

its awsome with the conversion i dind't loose that at all,is actually faster out of the corner now than with the 39t ring gears!

I've pretty much settled on 21 tooth first and never change it regardless of the track length, seems to just be optimum for me. I no longer use anything larger than 26 on second, trying to led me down the melted piston crown path. The car was still fast but I just could tune the engine for enough power without generating too much heat.

good to hear you say that, now I know it's not just me thinking it was quicker off the mark.

I just invested in the 37t bevel gears, hows the roll out compared to the kawahara conversion?

Going to try them out this weekend.

Not sure about roll out but the internal drive ratio for the 37T gears is 2.85 and 2.71 for the Kawahara. I've found that the 37T works well everywhere despite what people have said earlier.
