Well, you might be confusing me with the other Jeffrey Lin, who is a sponsored OFNA driver (and very fast). I am competitive but only at the amatuer level, not pro. To add further confusion Jeff and I both are from Taiwan originally, live in LA, and races at Revelation. Go figure.

jeff- You both had to pick the same hobby huh?
And to top it all off you both drive the same car(well almost)!

The car is much smoother with the 37t ring gears. With the 27/45 gear combo the FDR is now 4.75:1 I hope the O.S. I'm getting can handle it.

R4Evo, the OS you're getting can handle it. I saw the new motor run for the first time a couple weeks ago. I was never a big OS fan, but now, I wouldn't mind trying it out. The only 05R at the track that day was packing an OS. Freakin left all the Rody's, Rossie's and even .15s (2nd place guy) in the dust. He had the same setup you're sporting too. 37t and combo. Let me know how you like it!?

Check out his results: 1st place A-main ...

JLin, that's funny, man! I thought you were the same person too. And I was wondering why you were racing for OFNA, but pimping an 05.

The S is the basic version supplied with a .15 pull start motor for those new to IC racing.
The R is the race version with better parts all round but requires a motor and pipe.
The S can be fully upgraded in to the R, and can use almost all the R parts (the rest will fit once certain R parts are fitted).

If you are starting out from scratch, and money is tight, then the S could be the best route (* rout ?) to go.

*English / US difference again
