See what ?

have you thought about running the longer rear springs on the front? I think it makes the car more comfortable over those little annoying bumps.

note the weight savings on this gear in the lower left, the previous owner seemed to have removed a tooth from the gear via some miracle of driving hehe.

Needless to say this gear is not going back in.

Since I am pricing out the steels. it seems a Kawahara center conversion costs just a tad more than 2 kyosho steel gear sets.

The gear that was in this car is a 40 front and rear for the ring, It was perfectly setup for the course I drive on in the summer. I am a bit worried that the Kawahara conversion would be a bit too much high end on the FDR than what I want for this course.

Its either that or I am going to buy 2 39 or 40 tooth steel ring gear sets.
thats one way to make 39t ring gears!

Default New ZT1 for FW05RR

Hey guys recently ordered a FW05RR along with a Full kawahara ZT1 conversion. Only still waiting apparantly there is a new ZT1 coming out this month for the RR.

I was advised that the old conversion wont suit the new RR, is this true? I wonder what changes will be made with the conversion.

Also what gear ratio do you recommend on a OS 12TR P Turbo and a OS12TR, on a flowy mid size straights.

Thanks,

Luie

I pulled my engine from last season apart and see now that its pretty worn, so I am looking at getting an OS .12TR Turbo 5 port. Any comments on that engine choice for the FW-05R?

When i first got this car i ran the OS tr and the car ran very well that motor sits in my box as a back up motor , the motor never flames out and i can get about 8 to 9 minutes of run time and my laps are very consistant and very close to my mugen MR12 motor.
