Wow Mika,Gregory and Alangking nice rides you have!
My LHS recommended the Kyosho VZW217 pipe with a nice price, what is your opinion?Guys,a RRR WCE with a Kyosho SC tuned pipe would look good next to a chequered flag?
Nice modification on the upper deck Gregory,it looks really good and I'm too thinking about cutting the chassis brace on the original chassis, heard it gives more on and off power steering.

Thanks buddy!
I've seen that pipe on local Kyosho too but never on track. Propably ok but if you can get a pipe that's designed to your engine could be even better? But if the price is nice, then why not the SC one. These anyhow bend and wear in running/racing, they don't last forever.
3 months still to go...

I got an Atomic RC cover after I crashed my RX on the track fence.. It's a direct fit. I got it from eBay.
It was on the prev page.. here: http://www.snrt.net//VONERRR/V1RRRe2.jpg

They still have the overheating problem? I got rid of 3PK years ago due to the same. Spektrum has worked so much better since.
Anyone on RRR owners planning to move to 4R ?
I'm an occasional racer and don't have much time to spend on the track as it's quite far. My RRR is dialed so I think it will be easier to stick with it. What's your biggest expectation re R4 if you have decided to move, however?

Ok
I read from Kyosho pages about R4, yeah there seem to be changes that make the car worthy of upgrading I guess.

Thank you Mika! There's not a tuned pipe really designed for my engine so the manufacturer just said use one that suits your desired powerband. As time goes on i'll buy a engine+pipe set and call it a day.
About the R4 it's a big step from the RRR as there is no parts that carry over(but should fit) and i'm too a occasional racer,so i'll wait for the R4 and the MTX-5 to be ironed out and then buy both.

Nice! Totally makes sense you're saying about the R4. Let's see it first
Also nice reading everyone's thoughts about the old and new car. Keep them coming
I just ordered 5 sets of tires from italy to start truing them towards the season start. I've run GRP usually but these Matrix tires were a bit cheaper (4.99€ pair) so I'm trying them on the season start. Any thoughts about that?
I'll order more depending if like them or not.

If got my RRR back in the box - hoping to sell it too - and after a little break from racing, hopefully move to the R4 and get that dialled in.
