What is a good gearing for a small track for the v one rrr. I just got one the other day and looking for a good set up for a short smooth pavement course.

16/60 or 16/61 & 22/56 is usually perfect for small tracks.

Kindest regards,
Lars.

chickentrader, How big is Nitro RC down there. I am going to be in Darwin and Townsville this summer and I am trying to figure if I should pack my car for the trip or not.

Im not even sure if racing is there or not, I know it is in other places, but NT would be a good question,.
Im sure there would be tracks somewhere there.

Townsville Model Off-Road Club at: http://www.tmorc.org.au/index.html also has on-road racing meetings. Your best bet is to contact: President Keith Williams, Email: [email protected] Phone: 0401277118 to find out more.

Darwin only has an off-road racing club as far as I know, but you could contact OCR Raceway at: http://www.ocrraceway.com/Contact.html, and ask them about it.

You probably need to come to one of the bigger state capitals (Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney) to find consistent and well supported on-road Nitro car race meetings.

Kindest regards,
Lars.

How small are you talking if your staightaway is like 100 ft and you have a short infield staight about 50 or 60 ft then I would run 16/61 20/ 56 and set the twospeed to shift earlier then when you run taller gears and you will have a rocket, now you will notice that these gears do wear more then the bigger gears.

Does anyone have a parts listing for the new parts that come on the Shimo addition with part numbers?

What do you mean by new part? The parts the Shimo Ed. comes with that the Evo 2 doesn't have?
