Easier said than done, when there is ZERO local - or even national or European part support for the DM-1 here.. The Kyosho parts are also a lot cheaper.. Plus the advantage of being able to use regular bearings...

I still don't totally understand why there is so little part support at places like amain and tower..

ps Is it even possible to run a 5-tooth split on the CB with the stock (4-tooth split) spur gears on the 2-speed?

The thing I hated was drilling the chassis for the longer spread of the two speed (some cars you don't need to do this). I made an adapter plate for my new car I am working on.

The part #s I gave you are from the 777 buggy, they are the "straight cut" gears you asked for and are more durable. (More expensive too)

The ones from the GT1 & GT2 are identical and are the "helical cut" gears.

All the GT's come stock with the helical cut gears from Kyosho.

We racers have adapted the 777 parts because most of the parts are interchangeable to the GT; remember the GT is really just basically a 7.5 buggy.

BD races are on Sundays not Saturdays.
But Saturdays is a good practice day

I know that the gt is a 7.5 but I also have a converted 777 with straght cut gears but having replacement handy are always good!
