Hi guys,

Thanks for the info, i'll give Brooklyn Hobbies a call when i get a chance. Hopefully they can get me what I need.

M7H

Thank you for your response. I cant comment on the "life" of mugen parts as i've only built one for a friend, but the reason i dont want to build a snake is two folds. One is price and the second is that usually serpent requires more hand fitting to make the car work.

The border prices you quoted is kind of skewed. Serpent's HQ is in Europe, whereas mugen would have to be imported so thats probably why its more expensive there. I live in the US so both the mugen and the serpent can be considered imports. On average the price of the kit and the parts of mugen are cheaper than serpent here.

Thanks either way for your opinion, it is greatly appreciated.

Icon, no problem.
I quoted these prices, because Wijchen (as far as I know) is from the EU.....

I ran the X this weekend on a parking lot track and it has more steering and does rotate pretty hard going into the corner. I need to find a little more rear traction, but will be doing more testing this Friday and Sunday at 301 Raceway. My setup from the R to the X has changed and I look forward to more testing at 301 this weekend where we will have a lot more traction. Biggest change so far is more rear toe.

I hope you are not using the eccentric that came with the X conversion.

They r different than the 1's that come with the R. I tested the ones that come with the X in the front and when it's high it gave me way 2 much steering. I went 2 the one's that came with the R and it was much better.

Sorry not completing my post earlier. I tried the eccentric that came with the X-conversion and the car become too aggressive with the eccentric pointing down in the front and pointing up in the back. That's what happened when I don't follow the instructions. The stock setup wants us to use the eccentric that came with the R. After, that I can't help it but wanting to race this car again and again. It corners way better than R and carries a lot of speed. No need for brakes except when I screw up the line. Also, X with R11 love it more.
