Try soaking the belts in wd40 over night. MR johnson speaks of this in last months car action. and yes I have tryed it and it works, car rolls like shaft car.

This may be. The Mugen hubs induce more camber change through the corner. Basically you need to run much lesser camber. I can get away with 2-3 in the rear usually. A lot of static camber along with a lot of camber change will make the rear loose for sure.

The car felt very neutral with those weights in the car.

Man I hate to sell my RR but it's time to move on. I got a great deal on another MTX-3.

AMG- thanks for all your help on the RR.

Rob- good luck on your RR. Hope you get it dialed in.

Well anyone interested in a nice "RR" here it is.

disaster999,
You might change the belts to the SP ones - they make quite an improvement to the free roll.

Cleaning and lubing one-ways seems to prodce variable results. Some say to clean the one-way bearing with a degreaser, carb cleaner or motor spray - anything you can squirt in there under pressure, I'd guess, and then lube with Serpent one-way lube - never tried it personally.
Since the bearing is pretty well protected from dirt, I'd be suspicious that the grittiness is the bearing being past it's use by date.

You've covered the obvious answer on the one-way bearing. They aren't that expensive.

When i converted my RR to Evo the side belt was really tight. I changed to the low friction belts from Kawahara and it freed up the drive train no end

But carefull in using Low friction belt from Kfactory - G4 which suit V1RR. I did have bad experience with the that belt pitch worn out very quickly. The original kyosho belt seem still the best choice..for me. Probably the low friction belt from Kawahara is strong and smooth.. never try that..

Similar experence here, esham.

We tried the K-Factory/G4 side belt. I found it difficult to see any real difference in "freeness" from the SP belts, but that might just be me.
We installed all new belts for the Vic. Titles and at the end of the event I noticed two/three places with missing teeth. The front and rear belts were Kyosho SP's.
This was on a permanent track where stones aren't usually an issue. Nevertheless, I guess we could have been unlucky.

You are so right Esham. That happened to me in a race and I was really mad at those k-factory belts. Don't get me wrong...I love k-factory. As a matter of fact, all my cars have all the k-factory parts. I am just shocked that they put out a crappy belt.

Yes the LSD = a TCD.
The TCD is from Kyosho - don't think there's an alternative brand available.
You could use it in the rear or front diff, but I'd expect most would use it in the rear with a one-way up front.
We use the Kawahara Negative diff - haven't used the TCD at all, so hopefully someone will chime in here.

You might try Harmony in HK.
There's no on-line shop as such. Just send an e-mail to Mr Lam.
