NEED HELP!!
While i was putting on the engine today on my V one R i found that i couldnt MESH the gears. I tried every position on the engine mounts and moving it side to side and up and down and couldnt mesh the gears. Im thinking that the pinions that were on the 1st gear had smaller teeth and couldnt mesh up with the 49th gear. Please let me know how i can fix this problem because i was schedule to run this car tomorrow.
Thanks
Thanks

hey finchy did you get your car fully set upp yet??
#6773
damo just about there now I'm just waiting on an exhaust system should be here next week. Too lazy to drive over the south side to pick it up. Who know what happen south of the river.
#6774
so finchy you like the car so far and what exhaust system you getting??
#6775
so what clutch setting did you set it at?????
#6776
Yeah the car is fairly straight forward to build, parts all fitted nicely no hand fitting required which is a change from most other kits. Just waiting on a Nova in-line exhaust coming over from Mt Gravatt. Other than that can't wait to get it down the track for a bit of track time. Hopefully I'll have better luck with this than the NTC3

Well the manual says 2 mm but I'll just set it at 0.5 - 1 mm at the moment I have to run my S3 in on the car so I don't want the clutch too tight.

As I understand it, Enetti use Japanese rubber for rear's and GRP for the fronts or something - not sure. I believe the 40's were the issue, here. Our local guys stopped using the fronts but were happy with the rears . . . though it might be the other way around.
What's your opinion on the Enetti's compared to Zac's or Active. ?

A set of Zac costs me almost the same as a complete set for my MRX3, so are expensive.
With all the info I have seems that the Enetti uses a slightly different scheme than Ellegi (and other GRP brands) about using Japanese foam on front and using a quite different foam at rear (the rear used at Enneti isn't European foam - Some said Japanese some said American foam -, wears and grips quite different than the GRP ones).
Only you can do it is love it or hate it. Seems that are getting quite success here and are starting to be used by many racers (some time ago were only few that used).

So Jeremy do you think that will be set to lose. Took me ages to screw it down to 1mm, that nut is F**kin' tight on that clutch. I think like you said it will be trial and error. Hopefully next weekend will be the debue ( Saturday ) if I can get some fuel by then as well. I wish that tree would turn green a bit quicker
