I have heard a rumour or two...are you talking about the VoneRR with the Sirio engine and trick chassis?

...or about the "other" rumour ?

I think someone started rumours about a "shaft drive" version being released, I forget who it was but they said the rumour came from HK and it was a reliable source

gt

Default Choosing V1rr chassis plate.

Can give mi advices on choosing v1rr chassis plate (with low engine mount)? Those tat r not really expensive but durable.

My current choices:
1. Top Racing Chassis plate (4mm? 7075?)
2. Eagle Model Chassis plate (4mm? 7075?)
3. Any Other? (Not tat expensive as Five-star)

..so which 1 is better? N 1 more question...Eagle model is from japan rite? And what about Top Racing? Reliable?

any of those 4mm chassis will make your car heavier but not necessary make the chassis stiffer.

the kawahara chassis for V1RR is very good and i have been using it for almost one year.

I have used a number of different chassis plates. The one I liked the most is actually the Kyosho item by Shimo. Very stiff and nicely made. It is light as well and is 3mm thick.

For low engine mounts you can use the ones from the mugen MTX3 which run like $3.50 or you can get the low ones from Kawahara or Kyosho.
