However, I've got the full Mugen mod now, (i.e., the whole car, and will be trying it out hopefully tomorrow night.) I've already driven my friend's, and liked what I felt. Can't wait.

Similar track? In Honolulu? Aay, where's dat brah? You talking to one forma island boy (well almost, move to Calif. when I was three!). All my relatives are there though, so I'd like to find out where you guys are driving...
Don' t know if I want to publicly post my setup (highly secret, have to kill ya' if I told you, etc.) . j/k I'll PM you with details when I get a chance.

Woah nice track!
For what it is worth here is what I am using on a similar track to that one.
Front:
Oneway diff
4mm ride height
1mm droop
Swaybar 75%-100% stiff (depending on how many sweepers and how long)
Yellow or Red fantom springs
50-70wt oil (depending on how many sweepers and how long)
Fantom piston
11 pitch servo saver
2 degrees camber (change to suit tire wear)
1-1.5' toe out
10-14 degree caster (more caster for more high speed corners)
GRP Powers to suit, i usually run 40shore on my track
Rear:
Kyosho LSD with 10K oil
4mm ride height
6mm droop
Gold springs
Black/Gold swaybar
Mugen MTX3 conversion
2' toe in
3' camber
lower inner hole, 3mm of shims on outer hub
GRP Powers to suit, i usually run 40shore 30mm on my track
Motor:
JP RS12 S1 with novarossi outlaw inline pipe
Clutch:
Mugen centax, .3mm endfloat and 1.7mm on adjuster nut with lighten flyweights and grey clutch shoe
Gearing:
With my motor/pipe on that track probably 17/21 with 48/44
Other:
Stratus body with 5th body post
K factory tank
Graphite top deck
5 cell AAA hump pack lowered 4mm

The above setup comes from 18 months of experimentation and a HECK of a lot of track testing. It is not too different to the setup used by Ito at the Hong Kong race which was a lower traction carpark style track.

What consists of an MTX3 rear conversion? Never heard of it.

AMGRacer, what is the 5th body post and what difference is the Fantom pistons? What is your rear shock oil and I'm assuming you vary the front from 50-70?
performula, AMGRacer starts talking about the MTX3 mod from page 185 I think. Check it out.

Fantom pistons are the pistons used in the Fantom Evolution the latest car. They have different sized holes in them.

solid rear setup
well, i managed to test the solid rear setup but i was not able to keep pace with another RR (Rear LSD, rubber tyre).
My car tends to spin when exiting corner if i give it full gas. Overall, compared to 100K rear diff which i had been running, the car feels lot more responsive in steering but the solid rear make the rear end spin if i get on the gas too soon...Its a medium size technical track
Here's my setup:
Front Geometry:
Shock Spring - 5Star Pink
Shock Oil - 80wt
No Shock Tower used
Downstop - -1
Toe - 1
Camber - 2
Castor - one thin behind upper a-arm
Anti Roll - softest
Front One-way
Ride Height - 5
Tyre - 40 shore
Track Width - 198mm
Rear Geometry:
Shock Spring - Kyosho Orange
Shock Oil - 25wt
Shock Mounted on the lowest hole (5star Shock tower)
Downstop - 3mm
Toe - 2.5
Camber - 4
Sway Bar - black
Ride Height - 6mm
Rear Diff - solid
Tyre - 40 shore
Track Width - 200mm
Appreciate helps.

Re: solid rear setup
RClover, throttle control is the key word. It requires different style of driving. As for your steering problems, you need to setup the car for more steering when with a solid axle rear.

Quick question my tr engine the one place where u put the tubing in for the fuel, it's pointing towards my heatsink and so how would i reposition it out the other side?
#6060
The top-end needle should have a hex-shaped milling just above the fuel inlet. Losen this off then you can move the inlet around. Once you've found the ideal angle then simply tighten it back up again.
