Default Your Input Requested.

Hello V One R Owners!

I am in the process of trying to dial in the suspension/handling set-up on my V One R. The magic combo has not yet appeared.

Tracks to tune for are Crystal Park and Revalation in CA. I've got a fr 1way, a solid rear axle, blade fr bar @ flat, med rr bar w/ RR rear shock mounts. I'm using Kyosho springs silver/60w front, black/80w rear. It feels light and responsive but the fast guys just have more cornering power.

What have you fellow owners found to work best for you? Can this car compete with a well prepared TC3 (this seems to be the new benchmark drivetrain layout)?

Engine is a Rossi R12 Black, gearing is stock, Kawahara centax clutch.

More power to the ground is always welcome, but what I'm after is more holding power and speed in the corners.

Even the new 1/10th 235mm car they designed (I think the 850?) does not use a Floating Rear Body Mount.
You can use the GTP floating rear body mount on the Serpent but officially, it will get in the way when you install the 7 mm spacer on the rear bearing hub. Although, with some modifications, both can coexist...

Apparently, the 7 mm spacer will do more magic than the GTP floating rear body mount.

Refer to step 5 in your instructions. They are part No. 103.

Is $231.99 US dollars a good price for a new-in-the-box Kyosho V1R GP? Also, what does GP stand for?

that's a pretty good price PW. You can get the RR for about 270. GP means it comes with the one-way and foams. Who you asking for!!!! I've seen the GP go for under 200 before NIB on ebay.

Hey PD, I'm asking for myself. Tower sent me an ad with some pretty tempting discounts on R/C stuff.
