when the bearing gets too much play in the clutchbell , you should replace it.
When you start ripping the spurs it tells you to check the play. i`ve destroyed 3 spurs before i noticed the play, after replacing that it was good.

Otherwise run it for ever.

Yes.

You can buy a 2008 nt1 and upgrade the chassis and radio plate to even 2012 specs.

The problem with the 2008 chassis (or any pre-2009 NT1 chassis) is the plastics (arms/hubs) were too soft.

I would try to get at least 2009+ chassis where it should have at least front CVDs and then upgrade the chassis and radio plate to 2012 specs.

Default Rear Tire Wear

I have been scratching my head at this one. What are some reasons that i would be tearing through rear tires. Meaning loosing about 2mm per 5 min qualifier. I am geared 16/60 23/55 right now and my setup is about 1-2 degree rear toe and 2-3 degree camber. I am getting the right conical wear from the rear setup but i am tearing through rear tires. Is there something else i should look at or is this just normal for xray. My friend has the new KM and same track, same qualifying time, with almost the same gear ratios, he only gets about 1mm wear. Forgot to mention, normal shores depending on traction i run a 35F/37R or 37F/40R. Any ideas?

There are many things that factor in tire wear. From track conditions, shores, different tire brands, throttle control (and hard braking), clutch settings and driving style.

Try going 17T on the clutch for a less explosive take-off.

the only variable between us is going to be clutch settings and driving style. Same tires manufacturer, same track, same shore. I will throw the 17 back on and see if that helps at all.

Also check what middle side pulley you have on could cause excessive rear tire wear also
