no, not with gear sizes. you adjust the gear mesh using the wiggle room between the motor and the motor mount.

XRAY has basically created a fixed position for the motor so no adjustment is needed. They alter the pitch of the gears slightly so that the diamters are all similar for a give gear (1st gear, 2nd gear, etc.). The wiggle room you mentioned should allow you a slight adjustment to fine tune the mesh as you like, but once it is set on the mount, you should be able to change gears and ratios without having to make big adjustments for the mesh.

Gear mesh is adjusted with the bolts that go through the engine crankcase mounting flange. It's more than enough unless you have threadlock built up around the shank of the fastener.

Ok just need some servo advice i have not raced for a few years i have a we nt1 just wondering on some opinions.

I won’t a good reliable servo set i don’t mind paying for quality either
I use to use hi-tech in my buggy’s but that was for cost versus the amount i use to kill

I do like futaba in my ep on road cars never had an issue with them however futaba are hard to find in Australia now.

For steering I use the Ko propo 2367. By far the best I ever had.

Can you please explain what you do to the pistons? Do you completely remove the mold line around the perimeter?
Thanks,
Greg

The throttle I believe is a 2368?. But I never had any problems with glitches or stripped gears or anything. I have been using the same servo for 3 seasons. I have an extra for back-up but the servo is still going strong.

While setting the rebound on the shocks, is it proper to allow the spacers and o-ring to come out of the shock body(alum.), or should I try to bleed them around the spacers/o-ring?
