I believe the rates differ being that the front springs for the T2 we use in the rear. So for instance the front light purples for the NT1 are 33lb but the the T2 light purples, are 30lb and also come in packs of 4...

Default rearbelt issues

Hi team

im having issues with stripping of the rear belt
i always inspect my belts before race meetings and finals and they look fine, then i end up with a stripped rear belt in the finals.

how often are you guys replacing belts? the side and front i have no issues with.

Ive checked all the normal like having the belt tensioners the same, i always run the standard belt tension to.

If you strip your belt, you need to replace the brake pulley. If you dont replace the pulley it will strip the belt.

Replace the pulleys if they are already worn.

You may change the rear belt with Mugen MTX4's rear belt. Number of teeth is 59 or 177mm long, 6mm wide. MTX4's belt is 1mm wider than original NT1 rear belt. Thus, NO GAP on center/brake pulley...... I don't know the ill effect of using belt without gap on the pulleys. I haven't test it on race day.

both the pulley and diff pulley look like new with no signs of wear on them.
the belt also looks new and you can still read the writing on the belt clearly

i may have to try the mugen belts

first question, are you using the stock belts? or the option belts? I found the option belts last like 2-3 runs and die. stock belts work fine for me and most of the ppl I know. Dirty track, dirty pulleys, and things like that accelerate wear. But I run my front belt one slot tighter than stock, and rear belt one slot looser than stock and no problems with belt strip.... usually last at least 2 hours or so. hope this helps

You can add shims behind the flywheel collet to push up the flywheel enough so that the clutch nut grips it.

You save a little money on 3racing, however, I wouldn't trust it in a big race. If you're just bashing then go for it. IMO!!
