Its not the shoe. The shoe is the item above the one you are pointing out. The item in the red box is the flyweights. Just like the old serpent clutch, the weights are slid over the flywheel pins and rotate out under revs, when they rotate out the flywheel chamfer pushes them towards the clutch bell, and ahainst the back side of the clutch shoe.
I knew the top one was a clutch shoe, I just wasn't quite sure what the bottom was, cause the picture is kinda small - so I assumed it was some type of optional clutch shoe. :rolleyes: |
