I knew the top one was a clutch shoe, I just wasn't quite sure what the bottom was, cause the picture is kinda small - so I assumed it was some type of optional clutch shoe. :rolleyes:

is that type of design that old? the R40 has this type of clutch with the 4 seperate plates.

It's only been about a year since I purchased my first hobby grade R/C car :sweat: - and prior to that, I really didn't know anything about Nitro cars at all. :sweat: The only reasons I bought the RRR, was because it won car Radio Control Car Action's 2005 Reader's Choice Car of the Year award (click here) and it got a good review in Xtreme RC Cars (click here). :D

By the looks of this it is the same as the serpent clutch. We use that same system.

The plastic 4-step adjustable shocks look like the ones the Impulse, 705, and 710 used. If that is the case, then the aluminum optional body is already out there.
