I still can't get over the fact that the price of a NT1 is now $489.95. Given that a set of front CVDs cost $67.00, that makes the base price of the car only $422.95. Didn't I read somewhere that they were throwing in the front CVDs for free? [ http://www.redrc.net/2007/10/xray-nt1-2008-chassis/ ] Wasn't the going street price for the original car only $400?

What's up with this $90 price increase???

For 301 the 45/40 or 42/40s should work, but invest in the 2.4mm sway bar. 4mm chassis should help, but is not necessary to get around the track fast.

It's a new year and the dollar is all to common The euro conversion is what's causing the rise of the price, just my guess.

Currency is certainly a contributing factor.

Based on the change in value of the Euro, the price should be about $450 - an increase of roughly 12.59%. The kit price itself has gone up 22.5%. Any ideas on what could make up the remaining $39.95 difference?

Hobby shops got to get something out of deal also so I think it depends on who you're buying from also.

I already own an NT1. I haven't been paying much attention to pricing info and when I saw it online, I thought $489??!! WTF??! How did that happen??

Hopefully others can get a good deal and take advantage of the Italian thing.
