If you did not attend this race you missed some excellent racing. The
triple 20 minute A-Mains were all very exciting. Paolo Morganti, Chris
Tosolini and Michael Salvin gave everyone a race to remember. They
showed excellent sportsmanship and why they are the best drivers
around.

I would personally like to say thanks to all the drivers for not
giving me a hard time in tech.

One thing I learned this weekend. Mark Harrision is a very fast
pitman. He pitted for Michael Salvin and got him in and out of the
pits very fast.

I would also like to say Congrats to Paolo Morganti for winning
the "Factory" Class. And Tommy DeSantis for finishing 2nd in
the "Open" Class.

Are the final standings for the mains posted anywhere?.....When I looked yesterday on LiveRC at the results the PDF pages for the final results where blank. All I've seen posted are the factory A finals.

I just wanted to thank the kissimmee crew for a great race. The format was really cool. the triple A mains were very exciting. Running full throttle for 20 minutes was cool. I have a special thanks to Paolo and Maxy for all their support. The serpent 720 is an awesome car and when we found the set-up it was really easy to drive. Since it is a newer car, we also learned a lot at this race. Maxy, the motor and fuel was great. My maxy modified zx12 was very fast and made almost six minutes. Man I can not wait for next year.

the triple a format is the best thing to happen to gas racing in a while. I hope some other races take notice and follow suite.

K Raceway would like to Thank all racers who came and supported the 1st Annual US Open Sedan Fuel Championships. We all had a blast and like most of you, we can't wait till next year. We hope those who couldn't make it, followed the excitement on Live RC. Nine qualifiers in all. And what great mains. There was a battle down to the wire to get the final bump ups into the Triple A mains. And both classes of A mains need the third run to decide the champion.
Fuel racers only have to run this format once to know that this should be the future for gas.

K Raceway wants to give a special thanks to Doug Hay (RC Scoring) for missing his big race to come down from Wisconsin to score and take pictures for our race. Also to my partner Rafael Angulo. Our sponsors Kyosho (main sponsor), Serpent, Mugen our supporting sponsors.
To Henry our announcer......everyone wants you back next year!
To David and Bill for a great job in tech.
To Kyosho Joel Johnson...your continued support, sorry you couldn't make it
To Micheal Salven for his long travels and support
To Robbie Collins "good looking out"
To Paolo Morganti .....good decision and great run.
To Chris Tosollini for your help and support
To C Whit and the 301 crew for their unparallel support
To Jeff "Dry Rub" Epperson "cook the darn thang man"

Kyosho RRR Kit Winner
Frank Sosebee.........Bad luck all week..last qualifier

Mugen Kit Winner
Jeff Epperson (raffle)

Side bar: 2007 dates are not correct, will make formal announcement soon.

Kevin
