well, right now i'm still using the stock aluminum pinions i have yet to strip them never had any problems of stripping my aluminum gears on the wce before after almost 1 year of use as of the evo pinions, i'm still using the ones that came with the kit. they are still in very good shape though after 2 months of use but when they wear out, i'm definitely getting the steel ones

Kyosho Rear Spring 3.5~1.6 for Kyosho V1RRR

How do we identify the figure above whether it is medium or hard spring? or what the figure stands for?

Which brand of silver spring are you guys using and which online store can i get them from?

well, as for the figures above, i think the 3.5 refers to the number of coils and the 1.6 refers to the diameter of the springs if i am not mistaken

Went through the manual end pages but did not state wat the figure are but somehow tell us the stiffness of the spring. Thanks

I ran the stock aluminum pinions this weekend and I think I'm going to switch back to them. I agree with what Ron said. I don't mind the little extra maintenance for the lighter weight.

That wont and doesnt make any difference at all.

The part that rubs is the bit at the very bottom (the round section) so when the links are made longer, all that does is rotate the bar in its groove, and not space it away from the belt.

i got some small diameter metal tube that fits round the bar of the stabi. Its just thick enough so that it doesn't fall in the grove but sits a little higher. I used this way already for a couple of races and it seem that the rear belt doesn't touch it as much as it would do with the thinner bar.

Mine V1RRR Evo conversion. Emm.. abit messy on those wiring. I can't test my new setup more then a week now due to bad weather.

quite a clear wire layout you done.... maybe you can put a little those blue tag on the receiver which all the pin been slotted for pervent any oil from flowing in there especially on race day

Hey do u guys use vernia clipper to do most of your measurement? or is there a recommendation tools?

i use a vernier caliper on most my measurements especially small ones. is use a steel ruler on larger measurements

Yea, this was released around oct 31 in japan...
at least, i kno a store that started carrying it on oct 31 (even though jap version kyosho website says nov 1)

and doesnt matter, WC is world championship, which merely means the car used to compete in the world championship...they never mentioned "winner" haha

Buy yourself a Mugen MTX4 then - surely if that car won the worlds then it's better

Kyosho was head and shoulders faster and more consistent than anything other than Dario's G4S at the worlds!
