I had both cars & IMO I find it much easier to dial in the kyosho out of the box & you don't have to buy anything extra that's where the mugen falls short on you have to spend an extra $150 like cvd's etc

New MTX-4R comes with front and rear universals, but you will definitely have to buy the 4mm rear shock tower and getting a one-piece engine mount is also highly recommended.

The basic oils and lubes are included. You will need others as you change from kit set up though.

unless your racing on a high traction track, i would recommend changing out the kit rear diff oil to 10,000 for low traction or 20,000 for medium to high traction.

you would most likely be better off with the kit 30,000 diff oil then, get some 20,000 to try too.

I was replying towards his ? on conparing it to the 4 not the 4R & you just answered it & you still have to buy other items which makes the point more clear you don't have to buy anything with the Kyosho RRR Evo kit
