I ran these caps last weekend at Thunder Alley for the Top Notch series and they were nice. The caps really help you build a dead shock. I'm also running the 5 hole brass pistons with 650/500 but as the weather cools in California ill be testing with different weights.

How many degrees you have in your track now?
Which car you use?

6 x 1.3mm oring pistons require very light oil , thats why i made 6 x 1.5 and 8 x 1.4 , thin oils do not make for a good feeling shock . I played and played and played with oring pistons . They have great benefits when you find the right fluid weight to create a proper feeling fluid transfer in shock that makes the car just float and handle so good .

6 x 1.3 i used
20-27.5w losi rear
30-35w losi front
Reaaaaaaally light oils

I recommend drilling em larger

Multiply # of holes and size , 6 x 1.3 =7.8 , 8 x 1.2 = 9.6 , 5 x 1.5 = 7.5 , etc . , simple method ï

The oring pistons are awesome , they react heavily to small changes in fluid viscosity as all the oil is going through the transfer holes and not bypassing around the piston .

KYOSHO FTW

that applies for kyosho, and agreed Mitch Is top Notch, I miss out long conversations about this and that, I used to send him parts to make measurements, did lots of testing YEARS ago on his clutch systems, man I ran every spring shoes density etc,

now to my question, Im running for Serpent this season, they run a 5-hole 1.5mm and 1.6mm rear.. with 475 front 450 rear....does this translate, but this is what the whole teams running currently, I have some VRP Game-changers, Brian sent too me, theres NO WAY they don't work, lol,. just not sure on the setup, also do, Kyosho springs work On serpent shocks? they should 16.. right? big bore?

I do Believe the pistons are interchangeable, I sent Brian, the stock pistons from E0Buggy that just landed here.....Any idea where to go w/game-changers, to acquire this "plush" ride.....I know your a fast dude, glad to see your still at it, I took a hiatus...

As for springs I have the kit purples, which are 4.5 front and 3.5lbs rear, also have Red fronts 4.0 and Blue rears 3.4.....

and your method is simple/and proven, if your going to open holes on pistons, which I hope guys have a hold on that by now, but would be nice to have a desired Pack, and say a weight to aim for, from manufactures, this day and age, like loamy track, use your math for exp..7.2 front and 8.6 rear, and just leaves the "feel" up to the racers, amount of holes, size oil, I totally agree with you, I used to run my Kanai with 40 plus weights, seems there going down and down, to 2wd electric oils??>

So just bought the 16mm shock pistons, m2c9727

Any recommendations for clay low grip setting to start with? Do I use white piston in the front, black in the back? I guess 400CST to start with and work from there...
Thanks
