Hotbodies D817 Nitro thread
#436
Yes. I recently Installed the short tower on my nitro buggy. I ran for the first time at SIC. It was the best nitro buggy I've ever driven. Last night, I tried it for the first time on our local track it was good there as well. As far as difference in the regular tower, I would say had more rear grip, but at the same time, it was much more agile and easier to drive at the same time. I also tried it on my ebuggy last night. My ebuggy was super fast, but kind of loose if the track wasn't perfect or if I didn't have my best tires on it. With the new tower, it had tons of rear grip and was super easy to drive. I did notice it lost a touch of off power steering with the added grip, but before, I had 35wt oil front and rear. This time, I just threw on the nitro rear shocks that had 32.5. I think with a few minor changes, it should be just right.
Thanks
