Rebound is when you fully push the shaft in, it will pop out again based on the rebound set.

0 rebound means you wont get any shaft out when fully push in, is this clarify your issue?

cczjordan, can you explain what option from 811 you are speaking of?

Buggy looks fast - well setup.

It were the fr/rr anti roll bar shaft, no performance gains, it were meant for 811 for ease of maintenance. The alu shock stop also reusable

Default Diffs?

Are the diff gears like the "old" 811? And not the V2? Default setup shows 7/7/5 for the SRX8. The 811 2.2 default setup is 12/12/6 this was with the V2 gears.

I'm asking because I never ran the V2 gears in the 811 so I never had to buy all the 10K+ diff oil. I assumed I would need to with the SRX8 but maybe not?

Newman shows he ran 20k in Las Vegas...... but other team drivers are staying more in the 7k-10k range....

So which is it?

5K Old 811 gears | Was 10K in new 811 V2 gears | SRX8 Gears Back to 5K???

Do you guys know if these- https://www.amainhobbies.com/serpent...600660/p240026

will work with a 2.2? it says they're compatible with a 2.1 wat about a 2.2? meaning V2 hubs and steering knuckles would be 2.2 right? so would these aluminum axles work?

Run kit setup first. What Neumann runs is not the average JOE setup. And remember all set ups are personal and what is on the set up sheet might not what people are actually using.

Jupa Creations/ CRD has finally released the production version of the SKY-RC switch cover plate for the Serpent SRX8. The switch cover plate replaces the kit version with the holes for the mechanical switch. The design is made so there are no holes and the top is flat. The LED's for indentification of the POWER and LIPO are visible through the plate when activated.

You can disassemble the original SKY-RC switch Model:SK-600054 by removing the four small screws at the back. Remove the bottom and take the electronic switch and place it in the SRX8 switch cover plate. Place the clamp and reuse three of the small screws to secure the clamp. Mount the SRX8 switch plate with the two original screws that come with the kit switch plate on the radiobox.

When you place your finger on the top of the switch cover plate you can clearly feel the switch moment.

For those with interest please send me an email for price and shipping.

Paco Raap

PS. Parts are 3D printed and not molded. Inpurities in the surface might be visible.

Did you guys use servo spacers with the Cobra or Srx8 particularly with hitec servos?

Do you have an opinion on my question? 811 old diff gears vs 811 V2 diff gears vs SRX8 gears and oil weight?

I have no idea about the diffrences except what I stated and this for the srx8
SRX8 kit comes with 7000-5000 as standard.

No idea what is inside the V1 and V2 diffs.

Servo spacers depend on servo mounting heigth and as long as the bottom is not rubbing anything no need but if it does you have to use spacers untill there is 2 mm space.
