Thanks, I bought it. Let's hope I don't have problems with customs... 🤞🏼

Meanwhile I made some chassis protectors with steel plate (0.6mm), that should give more life to the chassis.

Our circuit is like sand paper, it eats chassis for breakfast!

I know it's in the states, but they ship internationally.
And its a good price.
Is the Pro GP chassis backwards compatible with the original SRX8?

looking at part numbers 600974 is evo and pro chassis.
600721 is optional hard coated and is listed as compatible with srx8, srx8 evo and pro.
So I would say yes, pro chassis will work with original srx8.

Hi guys, do you know if the part 600278 would have the same dimensions as 600750? My servo saver posts broke and I see the old part available in my area, but not the new one.

Is this for a Pro? You can always check on the "Suitable" tab on serpents web site

Near trick! Yes, it is for the PRO and yes, it appears to be compatible. The only difference I see in the instructions manuals is that the old part uses m3 screws on the top and the new part uses m4, so no big deal.

Thanks!

If anyone's curious, the Pro chassis is not 100% compatible with the Nitro RTR SRX8. Most of the holes line up, but the engine mount holes are different (I'm guessing the Pro uses the monoblock mount with wider spacing) so maybe if you got the Pro mount (and a backplate) it would work.

The front exhaust hanger bolt is also different, but should be easily remedied with a different exhaust hanger. Also, the droop screws aren't exactly in the right place for the arms.

The RTR mounts are for a pull start engine, I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the RTR chassis to fit those mounts.

Burned a quart the other day and the buggy was ripping! The chassis I’ve been running definitely has some wear and tear but no major damage, what should I look for to decide wether or not I should swap it out for a new one?

I use mine until the crown protudes from the chassis. And even then you can raise the central diff with some washers.

Does anyone know if the dynamite max life shoes work with serpent springs and flywheel? I'd really like to try them with the serpent x hard springs on a serpent cobra/srx8 flywheel.

Thanks
