The new 8ight-X comes with Arm Stiffeners.
Has anyone tried the Arm Stiffeners on the 4.0? What has been the benefit, drawback?

Yes, Reno sells them. I personally dont run them as all of our tracks are on the looser side or dont have enough grip to support the stiffer arms

Where are you measuring your droop from?

Its a bit hard to see as well but looks like those droop screws are screwed a bit too far in.
I have the LLRC C&D block thats why the droop screws look screwed in far. Droop measurements as usual center to center.

We’ve ran up 118mm droop in rear and not had them pop out. But, we also don’t run the LLRC stuff. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.

The pic I shared includes the LLRC and shaved chassis... No dogbone issues..

I’ve ran losi 8s a long time and only had this problem with drive shafts popping out 2 times. I can tell you your arm very much is broken but the reason you can’t see it is because the mold leaves a line when the arm is made and your literally have to bend it leveraging it on the hinge pin to see it. I had my buggy popping them out every run and no one could fix it, checked the arm looked perfect and kept losing my mind not knowing what to do. Finally I pushed the front arm toward the rear arm and the front of arm opened right up and showed the break. I would never have seen it unless I physically pushed on it. If your confused on what I’m saying basically look at the arm the closest it is to the diff case and you will see the molding line and it’s cracked on the front I bet. Where u slide the hinge pin threw the arm there is two parts is slides threw, the first part of the arm it slides threw on mine was broke. The crack hides itself very good on that molding line.

No broken arms. I have 2 set of brand new ones I mounted and the pin in the drive cup slot is in the same location.

Also tried new CV shafts, no change. I also tried aluminum hubs, no change. Also new drivecups, no change.

Make sure you are using the boot ring. Even if you dont use the boot, you still need to use the metal ring.

there has to be something missing in between the outdrives and the outer hub/hex for it to be off that minute. That's the only thing if you swapped pretty much everything else out

Hey buddy!

If you did the e-conversion, it does not come with the battery foams, if you're referring to the amount of space left over once a battery is put in, if not, I'll stfu now
