We were just talking about that today. If they clear $200 per car. They have to sell 250 cars to pay for a single pro driver. That's a lot.

Jesse is still living in So Cal last I heard and isn't racing or working for any company. I believe he is working for a hobby shop Travis Amezcua owns.

He went to the ETS race at Hudy arena supposedly as a spectator but did run an Xray (I think it was Martin's car) in the dash for cash. It certainly could indicate a deal in the works but it's not definite, especially with the Mugen at FEMCA rumors.

Only logical choice really fastest car and Kyosho can afford it.

But they do have a lot of top drivers now.

That's a bit blown out of proportion. He wasn't "testing a prototype". It was Martin's ETS race car and he ran it in the dash for cash. Things like that happen all the time. Just about every top driver drove the Awesomatix when it debuted but none of them signed deals the next day.

Still, it could mean something. Xray seems a logical choice to me.

Sounds like he's going to design his own platform.

My opinion, with Ty taking most of the attention (and a lot of the money) at hb I can see him wanting to be somewhere he sits on the thrown. With that said I believe X-ray is where I can see him going. X-ray is trying to get there stuff together, with most of the absolute best drivers taken by hb/losi/kyosho/sieki I feel he needs a place with good product/management and somewhere he knows he's boss. Will he stay o.s. is my main question, if not then for sure he will be at X-ray with the new fx engines. Mugen&kyosho seem to be his next options but money will be tight with mugen having a world champ and various other drivers and kyosho having a lot more bills owning not only kyosho and there drivers but also Orion and those drivers they support and pay. X-ray has Reno to pay and I could bet he's not costing that much these days so that leaves the door open for hara. I also see hara being smart in his decision and only considering one of the proven platforms, we won't see him driving some sworkz buggy that's Forsure.
