Oh wow

These are great fun
Total stock set up and was mint only had 1 corner with slight push but I am sure if I stand the rear shocks up 1 hole that will be gone.
If not I will drop the front diff oil but right now I am super happy with this fun weapon.
Running motor in so not full power but had ample to clear all jumps and it's planted.
Thanks Tekno for another awesome rc truck

Another great day with the Tekno Truggy... Grass Roots Racing Series at Thunder Alley Raceway. Kept the setup the same went with it.
First heat - had an ok start and some tangles with traffic but managed the early TQ. After coming back to the pits I noticed the rear tank ear mount snapped off. Tank was only secured by front mount.
Second heat - good start and battle with 2nd place. We both finished faster then my previous TQ. But I edged him out by 3 tenths. Another TQ.. ran the tank broke..held up by just the one mount.
A Main - got a great start and around the first 2 corners unmolested, then before then end of the first lap I had almost a quarter of a lap lead. By lap 5 I was lapping traffic. After the first pit stop I was putting the 2nd place a lap down. Haven't felt this comfortable driving in awhile. Caught the battle for 2nd and 3rd again and just played it safe and back off. First great win in awhile.
!!!!!
Made a quick fix/strap for the tank and it held up. Thanks McNeil for the idea.
Thanks to the Tekno crew for such a great machine.

I was confused about this step as well but went with the thin ones because the illustrations appears to show the thin units. The build is going quite well. Between my eb48.2 and this NT48, these Tekno cars are very fun to build and the quality and parts finish are second to none.

After two weeks of my nt48 sitting completely ready on my work bench, it finally made it to the track this weekend. I would like to first start off by saying I was a die hard mugen mbx6tr truggy guy before making the switch. I am extremely glad I decided to try something new, and even more glad I chose Tekno. I raced a memorial race this weekend at my home track, Flowood Rc Park in Flowood Ms. I threw the truck out for practice on Friday and instantly fell in love. The track is what I would consider a tight, technical, hi bite track, with a few large jumps, and a killer woop section. The truck felt completely settled and right at home. I won my first qualifier, made to many mistakes in the second and finished third. Because of the format we only ran two qualifiers, so in turn I started third in the main. I lead every lap but two in the main and and took home a win on is maiden trip. Could not be happier with the truck and the fact that I made no changes for the box setup. To the guys at tekno, I think you have hit a home run with this truck. I had many people looking at my truck all weekend and many more after the main. This truck will be a force to be reckoned with in due time. In closing I have one thing to say: Tekno, no Tekyes.

I would call it a quick change mount yes as once the motor mount is there is 4 motor screws and 1 exhaust screw and it comes out
Leaving the mount there so your mesh never changes you just screw it back onto the mount and away you go.
