TeknoRC doesn't typically do "upgrade packs", but does normally share when an upgrade is logical or compatible with a current vehicle. For example, I've installed the new steering on both my ET and NT. As for "upgrade packs", there are companies out there like Fierce that combine all the necessary parts into one purchase.

How much improvement did you notice on the new steering geometry?
Was it worth the hassle? Were there noticeable improvement on the steering slop? My biggest reason to upgrade was the new rear chassis brace. seems like the .4 chassis has different holes for center diff mount, engine mount, and chassis brace. Just dont think its worth the effort and the money for an upgrade, rather get an all new NT48.4. Hopefully we get an announcement after 2017 DNC.

We're not planning to revise the NT or ET platform for quite some time.

Hello I am in the market for a new truggy and am considering this one. Ive read good things about this truck but my question is do i need to do anything else to this truck out of the box to race it? I have a HB D8TTE now and had to do several mods to it to improve it such as associated center drive shafts buggy steering servo and a couple of other things to race it. I want a truck that i can put together and run without having to do mods to existing platform. I know hot bodies is realesing a new truck soon and i am gonna look into that. Thanks

Only thing I would suggest is the aluminum servo horn which is needed in pretty much any truck you would purchase. No mods or any other upgrades are needed, you will not be disappointed!

Thank you very much for that info. One more question does the nt48.3 kit come with universals or cvd? I am only curious. I think its funny that manufacturers are going back to the universal drive shafts. Kyosho is the only one that stayed with universals. Im guessing the unis are alot stronger and wear better.

Kit comes with CVDs, Universal driveshafts are available as option parts. Apart from the obvious difference in wearing characteristics between CVDs and Universal driveshafts they also have different binding characteristics. CVDs are suited to relatively smooth tracks while Universals are preferred on bumpy tracks.

Just picked up a 1st gen NT48 on ebay for $325 still new in box. I've got a ofna truggy starter box, but its set up for my D815. Any recommendations for a new starter box? I'd get another ofna but they don't make em anymore. Thanks.
