Before I used a mugen Mbx6. It seems like it binds on the flywheel hole of the chassis before it will hit the flywheel.

i got it aligned as much as i could but it will hit the flywheel but not enough force to turn the motor over, anymore force and it just binds on the flywheel hole (chassis) to be fair it is a new motor and its pretty tight.
maybe i should just get the suggested box teknorc? http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ad-Starter-Box |

maybe i should just get the suggested box teknorc? http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ad-Starter-Box The only issue with the box linked above is that the motors burn out on 4s unless you put a Losi wiring harness on it (http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...e-Hardware-Set). The Losi box requires a lot of mods, but works really well. We're really impressed with the Hudy box, but it's expensive. I think the Hudy box would be my first choice. |
I recommend this box, it is amazing. I have broken in about 3-4 motors with it and had zero issues.

I'm using a losi RTR box I've had for a long time. It works perfect.
Here is a few pics of my build. Went very good. Only thing that I want to mention is the steering block screw hits the arm when turning at full droop. I just flipped the screw around and it was good to go. You could also fix it with a few washers, but i decide to just do this instead. Also, incase anyone wants to run a steel flywheel, the serpent steel flywheel is a direct replacement. All of the tekno clutch parts can be used (screw pins, shoes, pins). You will need to use the serpent clutch bell though because the tekno bell uses a larger diameter bearing on the inside that doesn't fit inside of the serpent bell. Steel flywheel is good for smoothing out the power delivery and reducing flameouts. http://imageshack.us/a/img690/5964/5wrd.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img546/6745/1azo.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img833/3146/0nid.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img10/540/ridk.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img209/3910/fj46.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img41/7822/6efy.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img841/6852/wkd6.jpg Quick rattle can. I really like this body Tekno! http://imageshack.us/a/img35/7254/bmfz.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img571/3969/95m8.jpg |

This tames it down a little more and improves corner speed. There will be a lot of NB48's at CVRC this weekend - should be a blast! See you there! |

Danny,
I'm very curious and maybe you have answered this is the past. Now that you're producing nitro kits, I think it would be a great I idea for Tekno to produce a starter box that will accomadate the buggy and truggy, is this possible? |

Here is my first few laps with the nitro buggy. Went up in shock oil in the rear shocks after this run. |
