It is best to use our pistons when trying the 6x1.5 setup. Our pistons are not only a different shape (conical) but also thicker than most others. If you try the 6x1.5 with Kyosho or another brand the results will not be the same.

The problem is matching up the OD of the Tekno pistons. Kyosho pistons are
notoriously smaller hence the higher oil weight vs people using the Ghea pistons.

The OD makes a huge difference in Blow-by around the pistons.

Honestly I would just duplicate how Daniel did them until Tekno makes them
available.

I love this tool. It's the best $55 you will ever spend.

Take your standard 8x1.4mm pistons and solder gun melt closed 2 holes. Then drill out the rest with a 1.5mm bit.

Make sure you do 2 holes across from each other and not next to one another.

if your budget can stretch, the hudy tool has it all over the mugen when replacing WORN pins. the mugen one will shatter, guaranteed, but the mugen one IS easier for replacing the pins. i have both tools btw

got to run for the first time with the buggy. feels great, really easy to drive with the current latest and greatest set up posted on the Tekno site.
I personally however had to go up in oil with the 6h 1.5 pistons. BUT..I also didn't have a chance to run the LRC rear block. the track was SUPER dusty and dry and other than pistons and oil those are the worse conditions to test set up IMO. but here is a vid of LCRC without swept and watered like it normally is. with the 650 front oil and 550 rear oil.
(easy on the critics, haven't got used to hitting the monster brakes the tekno buggy has)

My first mugen pin tool broke.. Amain replaced it at no charge. Since then I use the tool differently and haven't had an issue for a couple years. All I do is break the pin loose using the part that inserts the pin then switch to the tool that pushes the old pin through. By breaking the old pin loose first eliminates the part that could shatter.
