If I rotate it counter clockwise it will no longer be aligned and will rub with the servo horn slightly.

Based on the amount of space you have, I must be doing something wrong, but I'm not seeing what it is.

Engine is a werks b6 for what it's worth if somehow something is different there.

You might need to rotate the carb ball down. Tilt the ball toward rear of car for front engine, tilt toward front of car for rear engine. I think that is what is causing your issue. If the linkage isn't straight after you rotate the ball, then you may need to also rotate your carb per the manual. Give that a shot and let us know if that solves it. Thanks.

Closest comparison I can make is a Losi 8ight with alot more steering. A bunch
of "stable" cars have come on the market in the last couple of years, this car
bucks that trend and goes the other way with quick reflexes and better mass
centralization. Lots of steering, lots of rear grip, tons of corner speed.

I have not seen anything on this car that would lead me to think it will wear
any faster than other brands and the durability is top notch.

Put it together well, spend a little time dialing it in and finding a setup you like
and this car will leave you with a big smile.

Right now I am using a vented REDS bell. You will need about 2.5mm of spacers
between the flywheel and front bearing and then some 3x5 shims on the end
to make it all work. The Tekno bell does not require the flywheel to be shimmed
but as I remember it still needed some 3x5 shims for the front bearing if you had
it shimmed far enough forward to clear the flywheel.

NEW bells only with the BuKu. You never want to use a bell thats been run with
aluminum shoes.

so i already own 2-3 losi/tekno type clutch set ups, what would be the benefit to changing to buku? do the shoes last longer? or is it mainly performance?

on the air filter topic, i also use the losi filter because i run the FTW body and the stock filter doesnt fit but im thinking the reason i lose my breaks is because the filter is getting "squeezed" under the body and the oil is dripping down onto my brake pads? If so, will spraying brake cleaner on the pads hurt them, i know its "brake" cleaner but its for automobiles so jsut wanted to make sure before i start doing it.

If you have AFO dripping then you have too much to begin with. I wrap my filter in paper towels and squeeze out the excess prior to installing.

sorry dripping is the wrong word but only way i could describe it but my filter gets pressed against the "T" logo on the center diff and then gets oil on it and im wondering if some of it is finding its way to the brake pads because it seems no matter how i set it up mechanically, i still dont have great brakes and ive tried everything w the servo, links, pad screws etc...

Main benefit that the Buku clutch has over any other clutch systems, is that you can adjust it on the fly with out removing the engine.

Pads get worn in. I find myself upping my brake EPA as the day goes on. I would take apart the brake system and clean it off with brake cleaner. Don't worry it is safe to use. Then reinstall and adjust your linkages.

Clutch tuning some people take to the extreme. Having an extremely tunable clutch can gain you those couple of tenths when set correctly. When you get it wrong though, it can ruin everything.

Oh yea thats not enough for me to buy all new stuff clutch hardware but that is a cool feature.

Just ordered an RW Mod FX Royal to put in the NB48, I am running the 2100 high rpm pipe because I was told the FX has a similar power band to the OS Speed 21XZ which is ALL bottom and I prefer a smoother power band so Im hoping the FX isnt exactly the same as the OS.
