I have not had any issues with it personally. But, if you are you can use some grease on the bottom of the case diff case and that should help with the issue. Just use a reasonable amount to help create a seal between the case and the chassis.

Is everyone just unscrewing the shock ends?

hingepin/roll center and camber location can limit down travel on some set ups, the orange stub axle covers will rub on the arms at full droop.

Also to achieve 106+ front you'll need to remove the droop screws.

HPI107446 shock covers include 2 long and 2 short short eyelets. The d812 requires 4 short shock eyelets.

We've been using the losi filters because we seen Tessman use them.
Basicly the losi filter assembly is pretty much THE worst when it comes to protecting your engine from dust and particle entry.
Just ask houston, maximo or rayaracing, they'll tell you the same, I'm quite sure.

It doesn't matter if you grease the ends of the foam like crazy. It's basicly a design flaw in that the end cap plates are too small compared to the foam.

At first I thought I was blowing dust into the filter when cleaning the car with air, but after the last race I avoided that completely and same result - engine went in one race, due to dust. (No compression, has typical particle wear marks internally)

If you want to use an alternate filter assembly you should use the MBX-6 filter assembly, it is much better for protecting your engine, unless you want to replace your engine every race, in which case go with the Losi filter.

My teammate who has the same sponsor as me has had the same issue.. and basicly we've been through three engines on this losi filter deal. People don't need to repeat other people's errors.. so.. just.. don't use the losi filter unless you have a massive wallet.

Edit: here's a post from maximo basicly saying the same thing:
http://www.rctech.net/forum/12088439-post5432.html

so pretty much, if you want to destroy your engine, use the losi filter.

It's just hard to agree on this statement per se. Been using losi filters since on my D8 without any issue on my engines. Thus, using same filter over and over again. I just wash it with nitro fuel and dry it a 'lil bit, apply the oil on it, in and out , and it's as good as new.

No, but we've tried Kyosho, Ultimate and Mugen filters.
Mugen 6 and 7 filter setups fit under the body, Kyosho and Ultimate don't.

Has anyone heard or used the website "ebayhpirccar.com"?
I had a catastrophic accident and snapped caster block. Normally to replace they are $85.
On that website they are $26.
I would like to believe this website is for real, but who knows.
Some really cheap prices for parts on the website.
