Sorry if this is old news, but did anyone notice the updated rear carbon shock tower? The new one appears to have an extra set of camber link holes.

Use 9.0t for smooth track and 9.25 for not smooth track

Can someone explain why the black springs are preferred over the silver springs? I was under the impression that the silver springs where suppose to be better than the black springs.

The inner column of holes on the carbon tower is same as the stock tower. The outer column is what is different.

However, I haven't seen many setups that seemed to have success with a shorter link... Of course, you don't find something that could work by playing follow the leader all the time...

It is the black set, you can tell by the wire diameter (1.6mm). Silver springs use1.5mm wire.

Thanks a ton guys, so if the track is dusty and bumpy, i should get the 9.25 front and 10.75 rear for best results?

And for those who've tried both, what's the difference using these black springs compare to the stock silver ones on the track?
Should i also change the shock oil? I'm still using stock shocks and everything.

.i havent found a setup with the silver spring that i like on ether truggy or buggy but that's me ... I have friends that swear by the silver springs .... to Each there own ....
